The Euthanasist is a one-person play that examines the nature of care giving, devotion and losing one's self in a self-imposed torture of the day to day. Through story and imagery, the landscape of one woman's rationale is revealed as she questions her relationship to living and others' desire to die. The Euthanasist is written by internationally produced and award-winning playwright Liza Lentini and directed by Alan Miller. Certain to stir and provoke, The Euthanasist will leave the audience talking well after the show has ended.

Playwright Liza Lentini has been a Playwriting Fellow with the Playwrights Theater of New York (1998) and received a commission from the Alliance of Downtown New York (1998). She is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, such as The Pinter Review Prize for Drama, Trusts Playwrights' Festival, Playwrights First and the Lillian Hellman Prize for Drama. In 2007, Liza was chosen as Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Playwright in Residence. Director Alan Miller's passion for theatre and live performance is always evident in the types of projects he writes, directs or produces. Previous projects have include EROICA!, a film charting the relationship between a composer and the internationally acclaimed Eroica Trio (Director, Co-Producer); New York segment of the trailer for Global Cool: The Movie, starring Sienna Miller, Tony Blair, Heather Graham and Amitabh Bachchan, that subsequently went out world wide and is current directing projects include, The Magic Tent a documentary about the creation of the children's television show. His theatrical credits include, Circ de Celine (London), Measure for Measure (London) and Justified Sinners, a one-person show that was nominated for a 'Fringe First' at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Alan writes regularly covering culture and current affairs both in Europe and New York. He is a published author, his first novel was Seven Days in a Decade with Tuesday Morning Publishing.
